I don't know if anyone's missed me - it's probably egotistical of me to think so - but in case anyone's wondering why I disappeared just when I had started posting again (way back in May/June at this point)...

Since 2005 My wife Sue has had lupus and a host of associated health problems (kidney failure, really low blood levels, etc.). She had a major flare-up at the beginning of June, spent four months in the hospital, and although she's been home for two months now is still in very dangerous health. I'm basically her nurse now, and I've been spending almost all of my time and energy taking care of her, as well as working to support us.

I've pretty much had to give up all my hobbies and my personal life to take care of her, and I don't know when I'll have time or energy to do art or play on the web again. Maybe I'll be back again someday. Until then, stay well.

Hello all.

I just don't have the time or energy to do Deviant Art anymore. I'll still be keeping up my website very occasionally ( [link] ), and I'll be trying to post art to my blog (link on website) frequently. But I doubt I'll be back here again, at least not for a long long time. I haven't decided yet if I'll delete all my galleries or just leave them there.
